The masks I wear and the purposes they serve.
In Integrating the Arts Across the Elementary School Curriculum, Phyllis Gelineau (2012), states “we wear masks every day.” How do you perceive this statement? Is it true? How can we, as educators, aid our student’s in changing their masks? If a student has sensory issues, how can you provide them the opportunity to “wear a mask” without creating problematic behaviors? Why do we, as a society, don masks daily, and what purpose do they serve?
